Welcome To Day One of Twack’s Blog. (Actually, this is day one)

Hi and welcome to day one of Twack’s blog.

I was going to use ‘Start Here’ as a title but there seems little point, as this is the only post on here, at the moment at least. If you’re reading this at some point in the future and there’re loads of posts, then it won’t really make any sense, c’est la vie. That said, I have always thought that I don’t need to make sense but I suppose that’s subjective.

Finally, I get to stretch my literary wings, not that I have any wings, it’s a figure of speech, of sorts.Welcome To Day One of Twack's Blog.

If you want to get all the background info, then you can take a look at my ‘About me page’, no point in me rehashing it here, that’s if I’ve done it yet, possibly not.

(There is no ‘About Me’ page as yet, my bad)

Today is the first day I have been able to write ‘freely’ for a year and a half. Now, don’t take that the wrong way, it’s not that I have been censored, I haven’t. However, I have had to write within certain guidelines or parameters, which is fair enough.

I mean, I love writing there, I really do and will continue to do so but if I wanted to share a link or two with you, or talk about something a little more ‘risque’, then I wouldn’t have been able to. Now I can, not that I have anything for you right this minute but I might in the future.

Over the last eighteen months, I have penned over five hundred articles. Before that, I had written nothing more than the occasional letter, very occasional.

Anyhow, like I said, you can get the details about me, myself and writing through the ‘About me’ page.(which still isn’t done)

Here’s the thing and you may agree or you may not, no judgement here, is that when you are free to do anything you want, those ‘things’ might not be forthcoming, why is that I wonder?

It’s neither here nor there, either, either (pronounced ‘eyether’) neither nor, none of it matters now because it’s just you and me and that feels right.

WA And Me

I’ve changed my mind, as is my prerogative. Maybe a little background wouldn’t go amiss.

I happened into this life by chance, one click in another direction and things could well have turned out differently and I would probably have been knee-high in computer parts but that’s another story. I like to think of it as serendipitous and as you will no doubt realise, that’s something I firmly believe in. Shall we continue?

As it stands, I have been part of the Wealthy Affiliate platform for a year and a half and it’s been incredible. Now, I don’t say that in the hope that you check it out and join up, that would be nice but it’s not essential for our relationship to blossom as I hope it will, in due course.Uncover the secrets to making money online image

What I can say, is that it has been a huge part of my life and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. To say it’s been a ‘blast’, would be a massive understatement. I am part of one of the most inclusive, kind, caring and altruistic communities I have ever come across.

Writing within the platform has always been a pleasure and that’s the bottom line, cliché or not and I do like to throw in the occasional cliché.

The name of the game (see what I mean) is affiliate marketing and when I first signed up, it was all completely new to me. All I knew was that I needed a career change and owning a website seemed like a very cool step in that direction.

Had it not been for the patience and generosity of the WA members, I would not have found this passion for writing. I was like a man possessed. It was a bit like Bruce Willis in that episode of ‘Friends’, the one where when he finally ‘opens up’ and then couldn’t stop crying.

Seriously though, I couldn’t stop writing and still can’t. In truth, I have much to be grateful for and I try to remind myself of that every day.

There was one small problem though, writing is one thing, earning any kind of income is another. You see, I just want to write, which is fine but it doesn’t pay the bills at least not in the way I have been approaching things. There are other factors in play but the crux of it is that I needed to start earning and that’s where Toppknox comes in.

Toppknox

So, I wasn’t going to talk about this but it seems to have butted into the conversation anyway. A natural segue, if you like.Toppknox logo You deserve a brief explanation but that’s all, not that anything I write seems to be brief, ever.

Upon realising that I wasn’t going to earn any money just with the writing, not unless I happened upon an idea for a best-selling novel, it became apparent that I would need an alternative source of income.

Allow me to introduce ‘Toppknox’, which is an abbreviation for ‘Twack’s Opportunity Knocks’.

When the transfer finally takes place, I will get the ball well and truly rolling but for now, it’s just a name and a Facebook page. Eventually, it will be a fully-fledged website offering anything and everything I have come across that affords an opportunity, monetarily or otherwise.

I shall be concentrating on software products but I won’t restrict myself to just that, it can be anything that takes my fancy or piques my interest. The world is my oyster.

Still, enough for now, that’s all I’ve got for you. When there’s more to tell, I’ll tell. For now, check out the next post and keep yourself up to date. Technically Today is Day Two

N.B. Just to let you know, Toppknox is now up and running but, and it’s a big, fat but, there’s very little on there, still, it’s a start.
